Wedding Ceremony Music and Wedding Music Ideas
Cul de Sax has provided elegant and unique music for weddings since 1992. The quartet has played at a variety of venues, including beaches, resorts, country clubs, and churches. Chris Gutscher, a member of Cul de Sax, is a Notary Public and can perform your wedding ceremony if you wish.
Music for the wedding ceremony usually consists of:
- Prelude - approximately 30 minutes of music while guests arrive
- Processional - parents, grandparents, and the bridal party
- Bride’s Processional
- Ceremony - candle lighting, communion
- Recessional
In addition to music for the prelude, wedding processional music, ceremony and wedding recessional music, Cul de Sax can also play background music for your guests during the receiving line, photos, cocktail hour, and dinner. Sometimes, Cul de Sax continues to play until another group takes over for the dance music.
We will consult with the bride and groom to assist in the selection of music for the wedding. The following are wedding music ideas for processional and recessional music:
Cul de Sax provides music that will make your wedding a memorable event. Our requirements are simple - space for four chairs and our music stands. The quartet is completely acoustic, therefore we need no electricity, cables, or speakers.
